Tap Water Only A Dollar.....
To get you introduced into this topic watch this vid on youtube.
So if you actually watched it, the video is about UNICEFS Tap Project if you have no clue what I'm talking about heres their mission statement they put out along with the video on Youtube:
To address this situation, a nationwide effort is launching during World Water Week called the Tap Project, a campaign that celebrates the clean and accessible tap water available as an every day privilege to millions, while helping UNICEF provide safe drinking water to children around the world.
The Tap Project.
Beginning Sunday, March 22 through Saturday, March 29, restaurants will invite their customers to donate a minimum of $1 for the tap water they would normally get for free. For every dollar raised, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days. What started as a local fundraising event in Manhattan, New York last march has turned into a global trend that we caught on too, funny thing is out of all the supporters of this ''Tap Project'' Canada has probably the worst turnout. Unlike New York, Toronto, Unfortunately hasn't been as spread widely accross our city as it did in New York in fact I'm pretty sure almost 95% of you who are reading this weren't aware this this event was even going on. It also doesn't help that Although tap water is being sold for this whole week (starting March 22nd and ending on the 29th), it's only available in Canada through restaurants owned by Cara, i.e. Harvey's, Swiss Chalet, Montana's, Milestones and Kelsey's...... what a coincidence that its Earth Day tomorrow. So if your feeling nice feel free to visit one of these restaurants and support UNICEFS Tap Project. I know when i first read this article in The Toronto Star i was dumbfounded at the fact that they would make us pay for tap water that is actually free, but when you actually think about for every dollar raised, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days not bad considering we have clean water running 24 hours, 365 days a year and we still complain about tap and resort to buying bottled water which is actually a lot of fucking money for water.

Band Life *Updated
With that being said me and rob decided to put up an ad in the local newspaper, I remember it read ''Wanted! band members looking for a drummer and a bassist preferably black'' I guess there aren't too many black bassists in pickering or drummers for that matter because no one seemed to respond to the the ad. Or maybe they just didn't want to jam with a bunch of 13 yr olds kids that did nothing but eat kraft dinner and play DDR who knows. So right after some unsuccessful recruiting we just decided to gather some people who wanted to play or at least jam, for the drums we got Dom and for bass we added Andy, he may have not been the black bassmaster that we dreamt of having, but hey anything will do. All we really needed now was a vocalist and quickly rob volunteered and wasn't bad at all. Listen to some of our songs, if you want to hear robs amazing vocals give Another Stupid Song About A Girl a listen hahaha.
Another Stupid Song About a Girl and Settle for less are both composed and sung by Robert, while Louisville and Poverty's Upside was sung by our intern vocals Greg, Robs bro.

Ghost of Dead Photographer Haunts Flickr
I'm pretty sure you guys are aware or have heard of the photo sharing site Flickr but I know you guys aren't aware that it's haunted! Thats right a guy by the handle pjs_deceased on flickr is supposedly haunting the site pissed off about how technology has almost completely ruined photography. Just listen to that this guy has to say:
"I am pissed with all those so-called photographers out there with their digital, point-and-shoot wonder-boxes, snapping away like there is no tomorrow, not giving their work any real thought.
In my day every shutter click cost you money. You considered each picture, framed it like it meant something. You careful thought about the lighting and composition because once you pressed that button you couldn't use some fancy technology to fix your mistakes.
I also hate the fact that all this new technology seems to make you believe [sic] that you invented the the medium. It is my hope that by posting my pictures and encouraging other dead folks to post their pictures, we will remind all you "breathers" that photography has been around since the 1850's and many, many talented people have come before you.''
The scary thing is this supernatural spirit or maniac has been haunting flickr for the past 2 months even starting his own group named ''Dead Photographers Club" (which currently has 4 members) and is encouraging other deceased photographers out there to join. Surprisingly thats not the most fucked up thing you're going to hear the guy actually resides in Canada, better yet Toronto! But don't be alarmed his sole purpose of creating an account on flickr was not to scare people but I guess send a statement to all aspiring photographers out there. Real or not whoever is behind this unusual but clever concept deserves some recognition because it sure has gotten my attention lol. Btw here are some pictures this guy has posted on Flickr
O and if this story isn't scary as it is, check out the caption this guy put for the wedding picture ''"The tall good looking guy in the middle was me. The women in the bridesmaid dresses are my bride's sisters. The others were friends, good friends that over time I lost touch with. Most, like me, have passed."
Finishing The Game
Sneakerology 101
Damn I just had to take this one off Kanye's blog.
A university in Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon University, has devoted a class to the study of sneakers. Ranging from its roots in the 1970s to its shaping by hip-hop, the internet, and basketball among other factors. The course covers the overall impact of sneakers on a worldwide level.
If only they had this class at my school.... I would actually be passing that class lol

So I was looking through some music and I found some of my old mixes and tunes from songs I've done in the past they aren't great but I'm no pro so don't be hatin' lol. If you're interested, the programs I used are Sony SoundForge 9, Fruity Loops, and Virtual DJ there are more but those are my main 3 programs. If you want to use them to start mixing you're own songs or just to screw around holla at me and i'll happily send them to you. O and of course their not free ;)
We decided to keep a journal to keep you guys updated with current events while were here freezing our asses off outside. Right now I'm blogging through a laptop in the streets of Toronto and even took a snapshot of the hectic atmosphere thats going on right now, If you look closely at the picture you can see the dismay on Justin B's face as he sees the army of people with tents and sleeping bags walking up Richmond Street just to get in line! phewww good thing we got here early.

Nike's Nothing But The Truth Leaked
....... After all this hype I expected better damn what a waste of time.
Snowday boredom
Curling: Two sweepers with brooms accompany each rock and use timing equipment and their best judgment along with direction from their other teammates to help direct the stones to their resting place. The complex nature of stone placement and shot selection has led some to refer to curling as "chess on ice".
I never knew how funny a match could get, if you don't believe me just watch this
From the unbelievable screaming to help guide the rock (0.15) or curling's unmatchable intensity (0.45) thats right, so intense that one of husbands couldn't even watch anymore or maybe its just the amazing commentary put into the sport (1.42) it makes me wonder why curling doesn't get the spotlight it deserves in the sports world, Damn I'm bored....
I drink a boost for breakfast, and ensure for dizzert
Damn I never knew a verse from ''Through The Wire'' by Kanye would ever be my theme song but quickly following the days after my surgery to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth it has. At first I was calm about the whole situation, I mean what can go wrong? but right before they did the procedure they made me carefully read and sign a contract basically stating that if I die or quite possibly sustain a life long injury due to the surgery it isn't their fault..... WTF!! I remember one the statements was ''I am aware that during the procedure that a nerve maybe accidentally struck resulting in a permanent loss of feeling in the lower or upper jaw'' or ''I am aware that after the procedure infection (dry socket) is possible and could be life threatening'' at this point I was shitting my pants why would they make me sign this contract right before the procedure? but whatever what can I do, I mean the girl beside me seemed to have no trouble signing it.

Supreme 2008 S/S
An early look into Supreme 2008 S/S line, IMO I think its the weakest shit Supreme's ever put into the market its basically all recycled ideas and clothes from years past slightly altered so Supreme can bump the prices every year and sell it to the public. But if your into pineapple tees, hats that look like homo's endorse it or a key chain that cost $50 this is for you.
Cool Kids
When the Cool Kids posted the video for their hypnotic, BMX-boosting track, "Black Mags," on their MySpace page this fall, they were hoping to do for bikes what Lupe Fiasco's "Kick Push" did for skateboards. . Check out their single Black Mags
Oh My F**King God 2!
So I was surfing the net while I was at home on my many off days from school and I decided to search my xbox live gamertag (Ninjacon12) on Google. What I found was quite hilarious read about it here... lol
